Winter crafting.

My daughter learning to crochet hot pads. She will be taking the best ones to the county fair in the fall.

This is a cardigan that I started 3 years ago. I got upset with it. Ripped it out and decided to make it on round needles. Maybe posting it on here will motivate me to finish it.

A few weeks ago, my knitting group had a Saturday get together. They had me teach cabling. The right and left are same size cables, but twisted the opposite ways. the middle on is a one stitch zig zag.

    • Amy, Thank you for the compliment. Sometimes projects need lots of motivation. Maybe you can get some done today. Show a picture and let us see what you are working on.

  1. Good luck finishing that cardigan! I started knitting some squares that I had every intention of joining together into a patchwork blanket. I believe I still have 2 1/2 squares knocking about somewhere!

  2. That was fun. I don’t knit but I like the diffferent patterns in the offwhite one, and love the color of the cardigan…however unfinished. I am doing blogging for creativity these days, and doing a creative teleseminar, designing deep exercises. I usually love calligraphy in different colors. Enjoyed your page.

  3. Even though we live outside a big city, we still find ways of “farming.” Since our lot is large we are able to do a lot of gardening and we live in a moderate climate so winter gardening is an option for us. Most of my winter crafting would probably be what things I make from scratch around the holidays.
