Relaxation Therapy is different for different people. For me to relax is need to do 2 things.
1) I need time with other people. Being a stay at home mom, homeschooling mom and living behind a computer, I need to talk to real live people.
This weekend, my husband took me out to dinner on Saturday night and we walked around a mall talking to retailers about things that I most like want to buy online. I got to see the products in person and see a sales person and their reaction to the products.
When dealing with people on line that do not reply to questions right away or not see their smiling face is some times hard to deal with, day in and day out. I personally do not like shopping in stores, but ones in a while it is good.
We as a family on Sunday went to visit many friends at Schoenstatt. After Mass, we get to eat and fellowship. It is fun to catch up on families and have the kids play with others.
2) I need time to myself – When I have time to myself, I pray, read books, knit and go for walks around the yard. Time to be by yourself, gives your time to regroup and calm down.
