7 Ways to use Cucumbers

I love cucumbers and here are many reasons to use cucumbers.

1.  If you don’t eat the  peelings of cucumbers your can put the peelings on your eyes.  They will take down the puffiness in your skin around the eyes.

2.  Cucumbers are hydrating for the body.  They are about 95% water.

3. Eating cucumbers can take toxins out of the body and  give you a afternoon pick me up.  Get rid of the soda, and coffee and pick up a cucumber.

4.  Do you have foggy mirrors after a shower.  Before you take a shower take a slice of cucumber and rub it on the mirror.

5.  Cucumbers with all their vitamins and minerals are very good for joint health.

6.   Cucumbers have magnesium, potassium and fiber and so is really good for high blood pressure and low blood pressure.

7.   Cucumbers are a natural use for getting rid of tape worm.

And last but not least, here is a picture of my dinner.  Chevre cheese with garlic and onions, covered with cucumbers.  This was oh so yummy.

  1. That looks delicious! Thanks for the cucumber tips. I packed a bunch of cucumber slices in my daughter’s lunch for camp today. We’re suffering through a heat wave so the hydrating cucumbers should help her out as she plays in the sun!

  2. Stopping in from UBC! I love cucumbers. I put cucumber slices in my water with some shaved ginger, lemon slices, and crushed mint. I let it sit in the fridge for about 4 – 6 hours, or overnight, and then drink during the next day after the flavors have married. And your sandwich looks tasty! I will have to try it! Thank you!
